Caritas Africa is currently addressing a legal matter under review in Kenya involving fraudulent attempts to unlawfully claim ownership of a Caritas Africa asset and the unauthorized access of confidential staff information.
This issue has been under scrutiny for some time and has already been reviewed and dismissed by relevant stakeholders. However, recent developments include the misuse of social media by the individuals involved in an attempt to discredit and intimidate Caritas Africa staff.
In response, and following legal consultation, Caritas Africa has published an official statement on this matter. All external inquiries should be referred directly to the Caritas Africa Regional Office. We ask that any communication regarding this issue remains consistent with the official statement.
